About
Demon Diary is a seven volume manhwa (Korean manga) that tells the story of Raenef, an orphan boy, who is chosen to become a Demon Lord. His subordinate is the powerful (and preeminently) beautiful demon Eclipse, who has his hands full trying to teach Raenef the dos and donts of lordliness.
A comedy, romance and adventure all in one, this adorable manhwa is sure to delight all kinds of readers.
Title: Demon Diary / Diary of a Demon King
Original Title: Mawang Ilgi
Manhwaga: Kara
Story writer: Chi-Hyung Lee (also spelled Jee-Hyung Lee, Chi-Hyung Yi, etc) for the first volume only. All the following volumes were written by Yunhee Lee.
The making: Although many people are not aware of it, the roots of Demon Diary lie in a one-volume novel. The original writer is Jee-Hyung Lee, who was a middleschool(!) student when writing it. The fact that many foreign websites don't realise that 'Chi Hyung Lee', 'Chi Hyung Yi' refer to the same person is not conducive to giving the original writer her due credit. Anyway, according to Kara, Jee-Hyung, who was going to highschool, decided that she wouldn't be able to write anymore because of school. So Kara were desperately looking for a writer to keep up with the writing, for it had been decided that the manhwa should be made into a series. Well, Yoon-Hee Lee contacted them and she is the one who wrote the following 6 volumes.
